The AHA226M35D16T-F is an ultra-long life aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a rated voltage of 16 volts. It is designed to provide a wide frequency response with low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and minimal self-heating. The AHA226M35D16T-F is housed in an advanced E-cap package, making it robust and durable.The AHA226M35D16T-F has a capacitance of up to 2200µF and a tolerance of ±20%, allowing the designer to select an optimal range of capacitors for a wide variety of applications. The capacitor also features a rated leakage current of no higher than 1μA and features an ultra-low ESR of 0.5 Ohms.The AHA226M35D16T-F is suitable for use in high frequency and low to high voltage applications, such as those found in computers and telecommunications, medical equipment, automotive electronics, and high speed robotics. Its ultra-low ESR, high stability, and low inductance make it perfect for applications requiring very high ripple current capabilities and high-density applications.In terms of its working principle, the AHA226M35D16T-F makes use of an electrolyte solution, usually ethylene glycol, to form an electrical double layer on the two aluminum plates located within the capacitor. This double layer acts as a dielectric which stores energy in the form of a voltage. When a voltage is applied to the capacitor, the electrostatic force between the two plates accumulates a charge, this charge then causes an opposing electric field to be developed.This electric field then creates an electrical current within the electrolyte solution, causing ions to gather around the two plates and become polarized. This polarization leads to an increase in the capacitance in the capacitor, allowing it to store more energy. As the capacitor increases in capacitance, the voltage across the plates decreases, until eventually a steady state is reached at which the capacitor has reached its maximum capacitance.The AHA226M35D16T-F is a durable and reliable component that provides a wide range of features in a variety of applications.
