AMS22U5A1BHARL107 is an angle measurement sensor for industrial and electrical engineering applications. It is designed to measure the absolute orientation of an object in an end-stop application. The AMS22U5A1BHARL107 is a digital sensor consisting of a Patented Haworth-Elastic Hall Angle Sensor and a Linear Hall Sensor IC. The Hall Angle Sensor element comprises two Hall effect elements separated by a spacer made of elastomeric material and two Hall effect elements are thermally insulated by a thin air gap. This allows the measurement of small angles and movement in a linear range of up to 0.2°/sec. The Linear Hall Sensor IC provides a connection to a controller or monitor with a 3V driven SMBus output signal.

The AMS22U5A1BHARL107\'s working principle is based on the Hall Effect principle, which makes use of a rotating magnetic field to produce a voltage across a Hall element. When the rotor of the motor is positioned in alignment with the field into which the Hall element is placed, a voltage is produced across the Hall element.
