In addition, data can be programmed and erased from the Flash cells by programming the transistors with different voltages.

To program the AT49F002T-12VC, the flash blocks must be programmed with a specific voltage. This is accomplished by writing a logic 0 or 1 to the transistors in each flash block. Logic 0 causes the transistor to be programmed to a lower voltage, while a logic 1 is programmed to a higher voltage.
