In terms of working principle, the AT89C5121-SK1 uses radio waves to identify the RFID tags by capturing their information wirelessly without contact or line of sight.The RFID reader emits radio waves and then detects any RFID tags in the surrounding environment.When the tag is detected, the tag’s information is read by the RFID reader and then sent to the backend software or system for further processing. The communication between the tags and the reader is done by using specific protocols according to the tag type.For instance, for an ISO11785/11784 FDX-B card or tag, the communication is done through the ISO11785/11784 FDX-B protocol.
