AT91SAM9G45-CU

The AT91SAM9G45-CU is a microprocessor produced byMicrochip Technology Inc. Earlier versions of this microprocessor were produced under the SAM7 and SAM9 families. The AT91SAM9G45-CU is a low-power, single-chip, high-performance processor applicable in multiple applications. Examples of applications include consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, telecommunications, and medical equipment.

The AT91SAM9G45-CU is based on an ARM946E-S core and has on-chip hardware support for vector floating-point operations. It has a 32-bit Data Bus and is capable of operating at frequencies up to 133MHz. The AT91SAM9G45-CU also contains an on-chip 32-bit memory management unit (MMU) which allows the processor to access 4GB of physical address space.

Some of the features present in the AT91SAM9G45-CU include direct memory access controller (DMAC), Ethernet 10/100 MAC, high-speed UART with 16-byte FIFO, timer circuit, interrupts, on-chip NAND flash controller, LCD controller and VGA controller. The Enhanced Embedded Trace Macrocell (ETM) adds complete on-chip instrumentation. The AT91SAM9G45-CU also contains an on-chip USB 2.0 Device Controller and an IEEE 1588 compliant Ethernet MAC for high-speed communication with external devices.
