The BOOST-LP5569EVM is a evaluation board designed to enable the user to quickly evaluate and develop LED lighting applications with the LP5569 LED driver. The LP5569 LED driver is an LED controller IC featuring up to 9 current control algorithms, including linear and logarithmic dimming. The device also includes hardware surveillance to ensure LEDs are not damaged due to any overcurrent/overvoltage events, offering stability and reliability.The BOOST-LP5569EVM evaluation board includes two channels/timers to demonstrate the basic features of the LP5569. It also includes a RGB LED to demonstrate several of the effects. The evaluation board includes two input terminals for simple external device control. When the LED is connected to the LED output, it will detect a pulse in the LED current waveform due to the LED\'s capacitance. The LED heartbeat detector then generates an interrupt signal indicating a failure in the LED or the circuit.The LP5569 can also be used to control external devices such as fans and pumps. This is possible due to the integrated low-side MOSFET driver.
