BU90002GWZ-E2-EVK-101 is a kind of evaluation boards used in DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It has power density up to 4.5W/cm3 with efficiency of up to 95%, and are the best solution for meeting the requirements for high power density and efficiency in AC/DC or DC/DC products. The BU90002GWZ-E2-EVK-101 evaluation boards consist of two main parts, the power stage and the control circuit. The power stage consists of an advanced solution of integrated power components, such as a high speed MOSFET, energy-efficient driver, DC-to-DC converter and linear regulator. These components work together to provide high efficiency, superior thermal management and reliable performance. The control circuit is responsible for controlling the power module, and is composed of several parts, such as a high-performance integrated circuit, PWM based controller, low noise converter, signal processor, voltage detector and current sensing circuit. The control section is designed to provide accurate control of the power stage over a wide range of temperatures and input voltages. The BU90002GWZ-E2-EVK-101 evaluation boards are designed to be used in a variety of applications, such as power supplies for LED lighting, smart meters, home appliance, automotive electronics, energy efficient lighting, green houses, air conditioners and industrial automation. The evaluation board can be used to evaluate the power section of products such as DC/DC converters, buck converters, buck boosters, switching power supplies and AC to DC converters. The working principle of the BU90002GWZ-E2-EVK-101 evaluation boards is based on the PWM control principle. The PWM control principle is a technique used to achieve high efficiency, low noise and low heat dissipation. In this type of control circuit, the power supply is controlled using a rectangular waveform signal, which is generated by the controller.
