The ECA-1HHG101 series aluminum electrolytic capacitor is a reliable and high-temperature rated device. It has multiple applications and has numerous features.

The ECA-1HHG101 utilizes organic solvent aluminum electrolyte, which presents excellent heat resistance and superior operating temperature range from -40 to +125 Celsius. ECA-1HHG101 aluminum electrolytic capacitor has a ripple current of 480mA, a surge current of 2000mA, and a high-frequency ripple current of 600mA. Its ESR ranges from 3mΩ to 12mΩ. Its maximum temperature range is from -55°C to +105°C, with a capacitance range up to 1.0uF. The series offers several dielectric films, including polyphenylene sulfide, polypropylene, and polyphenylene ether. It is equipped with a RoHS-compliant lead finish and is available in standard, radial and axial leads.

The working principle behind the ECA-1HHG101 series aluminum electrolytic capacitor is simple. It uses a pair of aluminum foil electrodes, which are separated by an aluminum oxide layer. This oxide layer acts as an insulator and allows electrons to move between the two electrodes. An electrolyte is then used to keep the oxide layer hydrated. The electrolyte also provides ions to increase the electric field between the two electrodes.

The electric current is generated when there is a potential difference between the negative and positive terminals of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor. When a positive potential is applied to the positive electrode, electrons move from the negative terminal to the positive terminal and electrolytic ions are attracted to the negative terminal. This generates an electric current that flows from the negative to the positive terminal.
