Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are electronic components consisting of two aluminum foils separated by an electrolyte. The foils are typically etched to provide high surface area. The separation of electrolyte results in a very high electrical field of up to 2.5million volts/cm for standard SMD aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The field causes electrons to be attracted to the positive terminal of the capacitor and away from the negative terminal forming a dielectric barrier, enabling the capacitor to store charge.

The EEA-FC1C150H is a high-performance, extended life aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for motherboard, graphic card, CPU, and related application fields. It features a low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and high capacitance values of up to 350uF in an ultra-small form size of 1.6mm x 0.8mm. The capacitor is compliant to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive and UL1451 safety standard.
