The cathode is made of aluminum foil and is connected to the anode by solid aluminum foil leads. The metal electrode has higher capacitance and is able to easily withstand the high DC voltage rating.The capacitor is enclosed in an epoxy shell and serves as the insulation between the internal components and external environment. The capacitor is also secured using a metalized epoxy with a top and bottom layer of aluminum foil. This provides an additional layer of protection as well as ensuring that the capacitor stays in place.In terms of the capacitor’s working principle, it helps regulate the flow of electricity by creating an accumulation of charge on one end and a depletion of charge on the other. This results in a capacitive reactance, or an opposition to the flow of electric current. Charging of the capacitor takes place via the movement of electrons from the anode through the electrolyte solution and onto the cathode. Once the capacitor is fully charged, the flow of electricity is reversed and the capacitor begins to discharge.The EEE-FP1V221AP is a versatile capacitor and can be used in a variety of applications.
