EEE-TC1C221P is a radial-leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitor which is suitable for power supplies, home appliances, studio and audio systems, automotive electronics, etc. Its capacitance range is 0.22uF, rated voltage is working at 16V~50V DC and ripple current is 2.78A.The EEE-TC1C221P capacitor works by absorbing and releasing electric charge. The capacitor is constructed with two aluminum plates that are separated by an electrolyte material and a separator membrane. The aluminum plates form one side of the capacitor, while the electrolyte acts as an insulator and the separator membrane prevents the aluminum plates from direct contact. The two sides of the capacitor are electrically connected by a lead or wire. When an external electric charge, or voltage, is applied to the leads of the capacitor, the electric charge stored in the capacitor increases.
