It is an axial-lead, snap-in type electrolytic capacitor with a molded plastic case. The case features a ceramic disc molded on the lower end and an insulating rubber sleeve which prevent electrical contact during soldering.The EEU-FM1V151B is a negative terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitor, and contains a dielectric electrolyte composed of aluminum oxide (Al2O3) suspended in a special oil. The anode is formed by depositing electrically conductive aluminum oxide on a super-thin aluminum foil.When current is passed through the anode lead, an electric field is generated between the anode and the cathode, which causes an electrochemical reaction at the anode-cathode interface. This reaction creates an oxide barrier that is a key component of the capacitance. The thickness of the oxide barrier determines the capacitance of the capacitor.The capacitance of the EEU-FM1V151B ranges from 1.5 to 470µF, and its operating voltage range is between 16 and 250V. The coil has a temperature range of -55C to +125C. Its operating temperature also increases up to + 85C.The EEU-FM1V151B is designed to be as small and lightweight as possible, without sacrificing performance or reliability. Its capacitance range and wide operating voltage rating make it suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as power supplies, DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, and motor drives.
