Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are one of the most commonly used and versatile electrically-components for virtually any electrical and electronic product or system. The EEU-TA1E102 is an Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor that is designed to provide excellent performance in a range of applications.

The EEU-TA1E102 is a radial lead electrolytic capacitor with an insulated aluminum shell and a tubular shape. It is constructed from a cylindrical non-solvent aluminum electrolyte with a bottom electrode and a top end seal. The tube is said to be 99.999% pure aluminum. The EEU-TA1E102 features a low ESR of 0.08 ohm, an operating temperature range of -55 to +105C, and a vibration resistance of 2.5g. The EEU-TA1E102 is also designed with a wide range of capacitance values, with the following features:

The low ESR is achieved by controlling the thickness and cleaning the electro-deposited aluminum layer on the end electrodes, which ensures high capacitance stability at high frequencies.

The EEU-TA1E102 aluminum electrolytic capacitor has a unique working principle. When a voltage is applied across the terminals of the capacitor, the electric field generated in the gap between the two electrodes produces movement of ions in the electrolyte. This process causes a chemical reaction at the surface of the electrodes, resulting in a thin film of aluminum oxide. As the voltage continues to increase, the ionic current inside the capacitor starts to flow and charge the plates.

The electric charge on the plates continues to increase until the capacitor reaches its maximum capacitance. At that point, the electrical energy stored in the capacitor remains constant until the voltage applied across the capacitor is changed or removed. The aluminum oxide film that forms on the plates acts as an insulator, preventing conduction of charge across the capacitor.

In addition to the EEU-TA1E102, aluminum electrolytic capacitors are also highly tolerant of high and low frequencies. This makes them an ideal choice for many electronic applications, such as power supplies, portable computers, LCD TVs, digital TVs, and automotive displays, among others.
