Aluminium electrolytic capacitors have a wide range of applications and many variations.The EEU-TP1V162B is one such capacitor and has a range of features that make it suited for industrial, automotive and telecommunication applications where size is a critical factor.The EEU-TP1V162B is an aluminium electrolytic capacitor with a maximum off-state voltage of 250V, maximum on-state voltage of 200V, capacitance range of 10uF to 500uF, and an operating temperature of -40°C to +125°C.The EEU-TP1V162B incorporates a unique ‘elastic electrolyte’ system which improves its life and performance, offering a high-temperature all-weather performance.The sealed construction, reinforced base and low ESR of the capacitor make it ideal for a high-performance package with a small footprint.The working principle of the EEU-TP1V162B aluminium electrolytic capacitor is based on two principles: the formation of oxide film on the surface of the aluminium and the absorption of electrolyte into the oxide film.When the capacitor is operated in a polarising voltage, an oxide layer is formed on the surface of the aluminium and the electrolyte is absorbed into the oxide film.When the capacitor is subjected to a reverse voltage greater than the rated voltage, a reverse stratification occurs, resulting in a further absorption of electrolyte and the formation of a ‘barrier layer’ on the surface of the aluminium.This ‘barrier layer’ prevents electrolyte from leaking back out, thus increasing the performance of the capacitor.The reversibility of the stratification process gives the EEU-TP1V162B capacitor a life expectancy of up to 5000 hours.The aluminium casing of the capacitor also helps to dissipate the heat generated by the unit, prolonging its life and performance.The EEU-TP1V162B aluminium electrolytic capacitor is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial, automotive and telecommunication applications where size is a crucial factor.Its compact design allows for easy installation in tight spaces, making it ideal for use in small-spaced applications such as motor control and audio/video systems.In addition, due its high-temperature performance, the EEU-TP1V162B is suited for use in environments with temperatures exceeding 60°C.The EEU-TP1V162B aluminium electrolytic capacitor is a reliable, cost-effective and high-performing capacitor designed for use in space-sensitive applications.It is a versatile and reliable capacitor that is suitable for a wide range of applications in industry, automotive and telecommunications industries.
