Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are a type of capacitors that use aluminum oxide film as the cathode and aluminium foil as the anode. The dielectric medium between two poles is electrolyte, usually it is made of ammonium borate solution. The structure of the capacitor is usually two rolls of aluminium foil overlap with each other, separated by a rolled paper soaked in dielectric liquid. The working principle of aluminum electrolytic capacitors is based on the capacitive effect of aluminum oxide film. The oxide film can act as an insulator and store electric charges.

EEV-HB1C220R is one of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor series produced by EPEVER. It has a high maximum temperature load of 105C and a wide voltage range of 6.3V to 16V. It is suitable for high temperature and high humidity environment, and has excellent performance in low and high temperature cycling test.
