The EMVY250ADA100ME55G is a high-quality aluminum electrolytic capacitor specifically used for the military and aerospace applications. This capacitor’s capacitance and its voltage ratings are 100μF and 250V, respectively. This capacitor also has a positive life of 8000 hours at +85°C.This capacitor’s dielectric is formed by liquid electrolyte and a section of aluminum foil, and the construction is based on the principle of Faraday’s law. As shown in the figure below, two anodes of aluminum are covered with a layer of insulation and then connected to the capacitor terminals. The anodes are then immersed in an electrolyte and a cathode layer is formed around it.
