The EVAL-ADUC7036QSPZ board is an evaluation board specifically designed to have 1MB of flash memory, on-board JTAG emulator, a variety of powerful analog peripherals, and unique built-in software tools to enable engineers to evaluate the latest ARM on-chip peripherals. The ADUC7036 chip used in the EVAL-ADUC7036QSPZ board is an ARM ARM7TDMI-S core, featuring a 16/32-bit data bus, 32-bit address bus, and real-time clock. This ARM core is designed with embedded memory management and low-power features that optimizes its performance for power sensitive applications. The ADUC7036 also features multiple serial communication ports and multiple digital I/O lines which greatly reduce the need for external components and bring about faster system response times.
The EVAL-ADUC7036QSPZ board is equipped with a variety of peripherals, including a Simple Digital Control Interface (SDTI), which allows for easy connection with external development tools; the NS16550 universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART) controller which provides a serial communication interface for up to five devices; a parallel I/O port; a USB port; and a JTAG port. Furthermore, the ADUC7036 also has an on-chip boot monitor, digital control logic, and an on-chip 2Kb SRAM.
The ADUC7036 features a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) FPGA, which allows for easy configuration of user digital voltage levels. This feature allows the user to quickly program multiple set points and sample rates.
