The FOD8143S is an optoisolator, transistor-photovoltaic output. It is an optoelectronic device that is used in telecommunications conditions to transfer a signal from one environment to another. This device enables connection between analog and digital circuits and provides an isolated barrier between the two enabling higher noise immunity. The FOD8143S is a 4-pin transistor-photovoltaic (TPV) output optoisolator for digital logic.
