HAL320UA-K

HAL320UA-K is a kind of magnetic sensor belongs to linear, compass (ICs). This device is mainly used for XY linear vector measurement and the measurement of azimuth angle (without a reference direction).

The working principle of the HAL320UA-K is based on the hall effect. It uses an integrated circuit consisting of a single Hall-Cell input, a high gain differential amplifier, an active low-pass filter, and a precision comparator and reference. This device is a differential hall device and the magnetic field it senses consists of both linear and angular components. Whenever a magnetic field is applied to its sensing region, it produces a voltage output proportional to the strength of the magnetic field. That voltage is then amplified and filtered before it drives the comparator which enables output to be monitored for both linear and angular movements.

The application fields of HAL320UA-K are varied. It can be used in angular position sensors, motor sensors, wheels sensors, position detecting, motion detection, communication detectors and many more. In addition to that, it’s also used in joystick controllers, navigational systems, orientation sensing, temperature measurements, infra-red sensing, IR optical detectors etc.
