HIF5B-GPIN is composed of a base connector and a top connector. The top connector features a black dielectric housing that is tightly mated with the base connector and a gold-plated contact blade positioned in the middle of the two halves of the housing. The two connectors are interchangeable and can be easily assembled and disassembled.

In order to ensure electrical connection and mechanical reliability, HIF5B-GPIN is equipped with a unique interlocking feature. The two halves of the base connector snap together securely, and the top connector has a threaded locking nut in order to ensure proper contact engagement.
