The switch attenuator provides excellent isolation of 40dB across the entire frequency range. The switch is also capable of supporting high isolation of 20dB up to 10GHz. Additionally, this switch attenuator offers superior linearity performance, with a typical IIP3 of ~27dBm at 1GHz. The switch offers low power consumption, with a typical power consumption of 8.5mW at 3V.The working principle of the HMC424LH5TR switch attenuator is quite simple. The switch attenuator consists of two SPST (Single Pole, Single Throw) switches connected in series, along with an absorbing resistor. The switches can be controlled separately, or they can be controlled together, depending on the application.
