Working Principle of HW150VH

The HW150VH variable frequency converter consists of an AC/DC converter, a DC/DC inverter, and an ac/ac motor control converter. The inverter includes four IGBTs, which are connected in a bridge form. The commutation of the IGBTs is carried out by phase-shifting method. The starting torque of the motor can be adjusted by phase-shifting, and the speed regulation range is wide. The product has many functions such as speed adjustment, overload protection, over-temperature protection, self-protection of electronic components, and so on.

When the motor is started up, the IGBTs are commutated in succession by the gate signals. The switching frequency of the IGBTs is transformed by the PWM signal from low to high. When the motor is running, the PWM signals are generated by the changing of the speed set value. The output voltage of the inverter is converted according to the input PWM signal, and the motor speed gradually reaches the required set value.
