The working principle of ICE1PCS01G is to measure the input voltage (Vin) and current (Iin), and then adjust the power components accordingly to regulate the input voltage. An integrated voltage comparison circuit (IVC) is used to compare the input voltage and the reference voltage. The comparison of these two voltages is used to generate the control signals for the regulating circuitry. The ICE1PCS01G provides an adjustable frequency control so that the control signal changes can be tracked by the power components in a timely manner. The controller adjusts the PWM frequency accordingly to reduce the switching loss and ripple voltage.
