The IRL3303L is a single-polarity N-channel load switch MOSFET from International Rectifier. The IRL3303L is commonly used in a wide range of industrial and consumer applications where a medium voltage, high-current single switch is needed. The IRL3303L is well-suited for use in both low and high power supplies. The IRL3303L features a low on-resistance of 0.7 ohms and is able to handle both DC and pulsed loads. This makes it ideal for use in DC/DC converters, motor control, power supply sequencing and power conditioning.
The IRL3303L is constructed using a unique combination of N-channel depletion-mode MOSFETs and low-Rds(on) P-channel load switch MOSFETs. This combination allows for the best possible thermal performance, improved reliability and higher current carrying capability. The IRL3303L also boasts a high maximum peak current of 22A and a low gate capacitance of 11.5nF, allowing for faster switching. The IRL3303L also features a low gate-to-source voltage of 0.2V and a low on-state resistance of 0.7 ohms.
The IRL3303L offers a wide range of features that make it suitable for a variety of applications. Its low gate capacitance and fast switching times make it ideal for use in DC/DC converters, while its low on-state resistance, high maximum peak current and low gate-to-source voltage make it suitable for power conditioning and motor control. The IRL3303L is also well-suited for use in sequencing applications thanks to its reliable operation over temperatures up to 175°C.
