The ISL8025AIRTAJZ-T7A is an intelligent, adaptive step-down dc-dc switching regulator. It is part of the Power Management IC (PMIC) Voltage Regulator DC-DC Switching Regulators product family. It is designed to provide de-rating and under-voltage protection while regulating output voltage accuracy. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial and automotive.
The ISL8025AIRTAJZ-T7A is equipped with Intersil’s patented Smart Power Stages™ technology. This technology allows a single regulator to cover a wide input and output voltage range, including multi-phase configurations. It also allows the regulator to dynamically respond to changing loads and temperature conditions. The result is a highly efficient regulator with very low start-up current (less than 1mA).
The ISL8025AIRTAJZ-T7A can regulate output voltage from 0.45V to 5.5V. It can be programmed to provide adjustable output current limiting and under-voltage protection. This can be used to protect the system against over-voltage or over-current conditions. The device also has programmable soft-start and non-volatile storage. This allows the device to store the settings when power is turned off.
