LMV339IPWG4 is a high performance, low-power quad comparator in a space-saving 16-lead SOIC package. It is one of the members of the LMV339/339A family of low power comparators, typically used in Linear - Comparators applications. The family provides a low power, single supply solution for comparison, level detection, threshold detection, and clipping.

The LMV339IPWG4 features four independent comparators, each with their own identical characteristics and features. They can operate from a single 1.8V to 5.5V supply, perfect for applications with limited power supplies. Additionally, they feature high impedance inputs, allowing them to accept signals with more than 10V swing. With a minimum hysteresis, the comparator is able to provide a precise reference level and a reliable indication of the level crossing.

The LMV339IPWG4 has two distinct operating modes, based on the internal reference voltage. For open-drain operations, the output is actively driven to the supply rail with a sink current of 10mA. Likewise, in push-pull operations, the output is actively driven to both supply rails with a maximum sink current of 35mA.

In terms of application areas, the LMV339IPWG4 is suitable for many applications within Linear - Comparators, such as level sensing and level setting, for controlling high-frequency power conversion, and for switching in control loops.
