LMX2371SLBX is a frequency synthesizer IC designed for use in communications and instrumentation applications. It is designed to provide a broad range of tuning frequencies and to generate high multitone frequencies with excellent spectral purity. Its advanced architecture is tailored for the toughest requirements, offering reliable, robust and accurate performance without sacrificing control over the tuning range.

The LMX2371SLBX is designed to generate high frequency synthesized signals across a wide range of frequencies, enabling clock- and system-tuning functions such as image/video/audio clocking and system synchronization. It offers high performance components and tight frequency resolution that enable precise control of the output frequency and enable the user to select or tune any frequency across the design window. It also offers a low power feature that helps reduce power consumption.

The LMX2371SLBX is a highly integrated frequency synthesizer solution that integrates an oscillator, filter, and a divider block. It features a fully-integrated voltage control oscillator (VCO), that is digitally programmable from 1 MHz to 200 MHz, and is capable of generating any integer frequency from 1 MHz to 200 MHz, and any fractional frequency up to oneMHz. The on-chip filter with precise temperature and voltage compensation ensure close to nominal frequency resolution and fast switching time. The on-chip digital divider provides a wide range of frequency division ratios and a low noise digital output.

The LMX2371SLBX application field include a broad range of wired and wireless communication equipment such as network switches, point-to-point radios, microwave radios and antennas. It is also suitable for industrial and medical applications such as medical imaging equipment, laser projectors, medical patient monitoring systems, and medical diagnostic equipment.
