Working Principle of LT3511HMS#TRPBF

The LT3511HMS#TRPBF uses two independent buck converters to generate 3V and 3.3V output and two linear regulatosr to generate reference voltage and current. The buck converter works at high frequency to maintain operationally efficiency (typical 93 % efficiency). It is capable of delivering output current up to 2A with a minimum dropout voltage of 0.6V. The two linear regulators provide reference voltage (1.2V) and current (100 uA). Both of these regulators can be remotely controlled via two pins (ADCREF, REFCNT) and are power management systems. The LT3511HMS#TRPBF device features two integrated thermal shut-down circuits. The first is the Internal Over-Temperature Shutdown (OTSD) circuit, which will be triggered when the internal die temperature exceeds approximately 150C.The second is the Junction Temperature Monitor Shutdown (JTSD) circuit, which will be triggered when the junction temperature exceeds approximately 165C. This OTSD and JTSD circuit significantly improves the thermal performance of the device and the reliability of the entire system.
