The ADC has two input ranges, one with an input voltage range of 0-2.5V and a second one with a range of 0-5V.

The nominal resolution of the MAX1181ECM+D is 8 bits, however, the ADC is also capable of reaching a 10-bit resolution (1024 code resolution) with the help of signal averaging. This feature can be enabled by using the signal integrator in the signal chain and configuring it with the appropriate signal averaging settings.
