Working principle

The MAX17505A is a monolithic switching regulator based on PMIC and voltage regulation technologies. It operates with a voltage drop of just 4mV between the input and output, and it produces a constant output voltage over a wide range of input voltages. The device features an integrated output switch with an internal P-Channel power MOSFET and an N-Channel synchronous rectifier for low RDSon operation.
