MAX9209EUM/V+T is an industry-leading clock and data recovery (CDR) and re-timing medical-grade buffer technology designed for low-jitter, high-bandwidth medical applications. Operated from either the MAX9209M or through an external control line, the MAX9209EUM/V+T delivers jitter performance of less than 1ps RMS and better than -165dBm output noise floor. The device features a number of integrated protections as well as extended temperature range operation, making it ideal for medical applications.

Application Field

Working Principle
At a high-level, the working principle of the MAX9209EUM/V+T is relatively simple. The device essentially converts incoming jittered and noisy serial data streams into a well-defined serial data signal with low jitter and noise. It is essentially a two-stage process.
