Data Acquisition - Digital to Analog Converters (DAC) are used for the conversion of digital signals into analog signals in order to accurately transmit information. It is used in a wide range of applications, such as medical equipment, automotive, robotics, industrial control, and audio equipment. The popularity of DACs is due to the need for accuracy and the potential for increasing levels of complexity in a very small amount of hardware. The MCP4821-E/P is a single channel, 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) that has both an adjustable voltage output and a current output.
