The MCP73832T-2ACI/OT device is a highly advanced linear Charge management controller for space-constrained, cost-sensitive applications. MCP73831/2 Available in 8-Lead, 2 mm x 3 mm DFN Package or 5-pin SOT-23 package. together with their little Physical size, low external component count needed to make the MCP73831/2 ideal for Portable application. For applications from a charging USB ports, the MCP73831/2 hold all The specification manages the USB power bus. MCP73831/2 adopts constant current/constant voltage charging algorithm, selectable Preconditioning and charge termination. constant Voltage regulation is fixed and there are four options available: 4.20V, 4.35V, 4.40V or 4.50V to suit new, Emerging battery charging requirements. constant The current value is set by an external resistor. This MCP73831/2 devices limit charge current based on Die temperature at high power or high ambient situation. This thermal regulation optimizes charge cycle time while maintaining device reliability. There are several options available for preprocessing Threshold, preprocessing current value, charging Termination value and auto-recharge threshold. Preprocessing Values and Charge Termination Value is set as a ratio or a percentage programmed constant current value. preprocessing Can be disabled.
