MIKROE-2080 is an evaluation board with expansion board, daughter card, and microprocessor peripherals. It is an ideal tool for embedded developers and hobbyists, capable of providing the user with complete control of the microprocessor peripherals and full capability.The MIKROE-2080 board is built on a powerful Marvell Microprocessor core, including features like four serial ports, dual Ethernet ports, USB2.0, Dual CAN bus controller and dual 10/100 Ethernet as well as PowerPC-compatible hardware peripherals. The processor core is designed to enable execution of code in ROM and RAM. It also supports a variety of development tools, so you can easily create custom applications for your embedded projects.Working PrincipleThe MIKROE-2080 board works thanks to its versatile Marvell microprocessor core. The processor supports a number of features that make it ideal for embedded development. It supports multiple device interfaces that allow easy communication with other hardware components.The processor core features an integrated memory controller that is compatible with a wide range of memory types. It can support SDRAM, DDR2, GDDR3, and GDDR4, and it also supports ECC and non-ECC memory. In addition, the processor core features multi-layer support for caching of data in both RAM and ROM.
