This development of anodic and cathodic regions, along with the electrolyte, forms the basis of a current path that creates the capacitance necessary to perform specific operations.

As the magnitude of the applied voltage increases, the insulating layer of aluminum oxide is slowly removed allowing a direct electrical connection between the anode and the electrolyte. This reinforces the current path considerably increasing the capacitance with no degradation of insulation between the plates. 

The MZA35VC10RME61TP provides a range of operating temperatures that ranges from -40°C to 105°C and has a voltage value of 450 VDC. This capacitor is available in radial leaded format with rated ripple currents of up to 4500Hz and a widened temperature coefficient range.
