Working Principle of NCP1076AAP100G
The NCP1076AAP100G is capable of operating from both AC and DC inputs with a universal input voltage range from 90 V up to 265 V. It also provides a wide output voltage range from 1.8 V up to 18 V and a maximum output current of up to 100 mA. The current limit of 100mA is set by the internal MOSFETs and can be adjusted by setting the current limit pin. The output voltage is regulated by the linear regulator circuit that includes the over temperature, RDS(ON) protection and current limit.
