TVS - Thyristors

P1300EARP1 Application Field and Working Principle

The P1300EARP1 TVS is designed to protect against high voltage transients and overvoltage events. When the voltage across the thyristor increases to the break-over voltage (BVt), the current through the P1300EARP1 device drops sharply and the thyristor turns off. This cycle continues until the transient voltage is within a safe range.

The P1300EARP1 is designed to prevent high voltage transients and overvoltage events, and is rated to handle voltage peaks up to 25,000 volts.
