Aluminum - Polymer Capacitors

Aluminum-polymer capacitors (also known as AP capacitors) are a new kind of electronic components. They are capable of high capacitance values and low leakage currents with much higher operating temperature ranges compared to traditional ceramic capacitors. In addition, due to their low ESR (equivalent series resistance) values, they can enable high switching speeds, shorter discharge times, and lower thermal resistance than standard ceramic capacitors. It is therefore suitable for use in power conversion, signal conditioning, and severe noise control applications.

The PCJ0G101MCL1GS capacitor, also known as an aluminum-polymer capacitor, is a surface-mount multi-layer capacitor from Toshiba Corporation.
