Working Principles:
The S-1142C35H-E6T2U is a linear voltage regulator and consists of a large voltage MOSFET and a main driver transistor. The MOSFET act as a high efficiency switch and perform the most of the linear voltage regulation. It is divided into two stages: the balancing stage and the electrolytic stage. The balancing stage includes the output capacitor, the indicator lamps, the damping resistors and the current limiting resistor. The electrolytic stage acts as a buffer. When the voltage of the output increases, the electrolytic stage will absorb the excess voltage and when the voltage falls, the electrolytic stage will release its stored energy to maintain the output voltage.
