S8356Q30MC-OYPT2U is an adaptive-on-time (AOT) High-Side Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) step-down DC-DC controller designed for reliable, high efficiency and low noise performance. It offers a very wide range of output voltage from 0.8V to 5.5V. This powerhouse of a controller utilizes a secondary-side feedback loop, which reduces output voltage fluctuation. In addition, high frequency PWM operation and on-chip high-performance oscillator allows the PWM switching frequency to be dynamically adjusted to ensure adequate transient response, even in heavy-load conditions.
The S8356Q30MC-OYPT2U step-down DC-DC controller includes many features such as a programmable soft-start, adjustable over current protection, adjustable maximum ON-time, over-voltage protection and under-voltage lockout. It also offers the ability to synchronize with external circuit, a power good output, true shutdown and over temperature protection.
