The SCPA05F Diode array is an ultra-fast, low-power, and low-profile silicon array comprising four diodes connected in series, providing reverse blocking capabilities in compact space saving surface mount packages and packages. The SCPA05F array makes ideal for a wide range of industrial, consumer and automotive applications such as power management, over-voltage protection, and DC-DC converters.

The SCPA05F array offers a very fast response time, typically a forward turn-on voltage of less than 1.3 V and a reverse turn-off voltage of less than 4 V. It is also low power, with a forward bias current of less than 250 mA and a reverse bias current of less than 8 mA. With a low profile of just 1.45 mm and a thermal capacity that can cope with temperatures ranging from -55°C to + 175°C, the SCPA05F array is ideal for a wide range of applications.

The SCPA05F array is designed for a wide range of DC and AC applications, specifically for PCBs, SMPS and switched-mode power supplies, motor controllers and controllers, and protection circuits. It is suitable for protection from circuit and load over-voltages, reverse voltage protection, and catching dV/dt and dI/dt transients. In addition, it can be used for DC coupling and in buck, boost, fly-back and control circuits.
