The SI3461-KIT Evaluation Board is a dc/dc and ac/dc off-line switcher power supply module designed to evaluate and test the performance of Silicon Laboratories’ highly integrated SI3461 PWM controller with an integrated large current N-channel MOSFET. This board operates over an input voltage range of 8 Vdc to 60 Vdc and includes a 1-ph/2-ph half-bridge rectification with an output voltage of 3.3 Vdc @ 25 A or 12 Vdc @ 15 A. It also includes an adjustable output voltage regulator and switching frequency of up to 500 kHz.

The evaluation boards provide an excellent platform for bench topevaluation and testing with programmable parameters such as pulse-width, voltage regulation and output voltage. This board also includes a built-in thermal protection feature for over-temperature situations.
