Working Principle

The SI5335B-B07735-GMR is designed using a highly advanced differential clock solution which is capable of generating programmable frequencies ranging up to 2.5GHz with an input clock ranging from 10MHz to 500MHz. It integrates both a digital frequency synthesizer and a phase-controlled, high-performance, Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) solution for excellent jitter performance. It uses an integrated voltage-controlled VCO for frequency synthesis, along with programmable output phase and frequency modulation capabilities.

The SI5335B-B07735-GMR includes an array of programmable parameters, enabling it to operate in various CT applications. It offers a wide programmable jitter attenuation range – from 0 to less than 0.5ps. The device is programmable with a single clock cycle accuracy and 100ps of resolution and advanced spread-spectrum clock control functionality, which helps reduce overall system noise. The SI5335B-B07735-GMR also includes on-chip self-calibration features to ensure reliable operation over a wide temperature range.
