The SIT8008BIT3-XXE is a cost-effective solution when it comes to driving complex digital timing signals. Its dual bank design allows it to provide accurate phase synchronization between two separate circuits without need for a phase-locked loop. This Programmable Oscillator also features external programmable frequency divider stages, allowing for a wide variety of crystal structures. The SIT8008BIT3-XXE also includes on-board temperature compensations, which can be used in applications that may be subject to shocks or temperature variations. The SIT8008BIT3-XXE uses a low-resonance quartz crystal as its primary frequency reference, providing a reliable and stable clock signal. This crystal can be programmed to any desired frequency up to 30 MHz and with a tolerance of ± 20 ppm. However, the actual accuracy of the resulting signal is dependent on other factors, such as change in the clock environment or component aging.The Programmable Oscillator provides up to two-bank configuration, with a selectable ignition rate of 0.25–128 ns/step and an update rate of 1–256 ns/step. The SIT8008BIT3-XXE programmable oscillator can be configured to meet different application-specific needs. For example, it can be used as a basic clock, as a frequency divider or as an oscillator source for clock generators applications.In addition, the SIT8008BIT3-XXE includes an integrated Lock Detect feature that notifies the user when the oscillator’s internal circuitry is locked and ready for use. This feature can help improve system robustness, as it eliminates the need for manual supervision of the process.The SIT8008BIT3-XXE is designed to operate over a temperature range of –40 to +85°C, making it suitable for industrial and military applications.
