Working Principle

SK29TR bridge rectifier circuit is composed of four diodes and a capacitor. When an alternating current is applied to this circuit from the power supply, the capacitor will charge to the peak value of the input AC voltage. During the positive half-cycle of the input AC, the cathode of D1 and the anode of D4 will take positive voltage, and during the negative half-cycle of the input AC, D2’s cathode and D3’s anode will become positive. The diode paired in voltage will conduct current and the other two diodes will be nonconducting, so a unidirectional current is supplied to the load through the two conducting diodes.
