RF Front End (LNA + PA) is the integration of low noise amplifiers and power amplifiers for wireless communication system front end. The SST11LF04-Q3CE is an ideal RF Front End solution, which integrated a current-mode low noise amplifier and a power amplifier in a seven-pin miniature low-cost surface-mount package.
The application fields of the SST11LF04-Q3CE RF Front End include 2.4 GHz ISM and LTE MCS-8, WHDI, WIMAX, UWB and satellite communications. Due to its low noise and low power consumption, it is suitable for long-distance operation in both the receiver and transmitter chain. The device is designed as an easy-to-use, low power consumption, low noise and high reliability RF Front End to meet the increasing demand for high performance and to minimize BoM and interface complexity.
The working of SST11LF04-Q3CE includes a low noise amplifier module which amplifies the received weak signal to an adequate level and improves the signal-to-noise ratio. The power amplifier boosts the amplified signal to a much higher output power, which is needed to overcome the loss in the antenna system. It can improve the transmit power efficiency, which is very important for long-distance communications. In order to optimize the performance of the SST11LF04-Q3CE, the package also has two test points.
