The working principle of a T95R157M020LSSL tantalum capacitor is based on Faraday’s Law of Electrolysis. This states that when a DC voltage is applied to an electrolyte, the electrolyte will dissociate into positively and negatively charged particles. The T95R157M020LSSL has a tantalum cathode which attracts the negatively charged particles while the aluminium anode attracts the positively charged particles. This creates a reverse current flow, which is known as the electrolytic effect. This electrolytic effect causes the charged particles to accumulate on both the cathode and anode, creating an electric field between them. This electric field causes an electrical charge to build up, which in turn causes the capacitor to store electrical energy.The T95R157M020LSSL capacitor is a component which has many advantageous applications.
