Tantalum capacitors are electrochemical capacitors, which are also known as electrolytic capacitors. They are designed with two electrochemical layers separated by a porous dielectric (insulating) layer. The capacitors are either filled with an electrolyte, a mixture of ions that can be suspended in a liquid, or impregnated with a gel-like substance saturated with electrolyte. The two layers are made of a metal current carrying material (anode) and a dielectric material, and the anode is commonly made of tantalum.TAJT336K006RNJ is a type of tantalum capacitor manufactured by KEMET Corporation.
