Application Field

TJM120604 offers a great solution to a wide range of customer applications, and is designed for local control panels or remote control panel applications using Modbus RTU communication protocol.

• Generator/Battery Monitoring/Protection - TJM120604 can be used to monitor the battery levels in a generator and provide power protection from unexpected voltage drops and power overloads.
• Solar & Hydro Alarm/Control - TJM120604 is also designed for tracking and controlling variable solar and hydro power sources and monitoring their output levels.
• Substation Automation/Metering - Substation automation/metering can be monitored and controlled with TJM120604.
• Micro Grids - Micro Grids can be monitored and controlled using TJM120604.
• Industrial, Agriculture, and Residential Applications - TJM120604 is designed for use in industrial, agriculture, and residential applications.

Working Principle

TJM120604 works by detecting the current state of an electrical circuit, and then isolating the circuit from its original source and directing it to an alternative source when necessary. This is Typically done in a redundant or dual-source power system, where one source of power (such as a generator, solar panel, or battery) can be used at any given time.

The circuit configuration depends on the application. For example, for Automatic Transfer Schemes, the TJM120604 monitors the incoming voltage from the utility source and when voltage drops below a certain set point, it will automatically transfer the load to the other source which can be generator or another utility source.

In other applications, such as Utility paralleling, the system will monitor the incoming voltage from the two sources and when the voltage drops below a certain set point, the TJM120604 will direct the load to the alternative source for optimal performance.

In addition, for Generator/Battery monitoring/protection, TJM120604 can be used to monitor the battery levels in a generator and provide power protection from unexpected voltage drops and power overloads. It can also be used to monitor and control variable solar and hydro power sources, as well as substation automation/metering and micro grids.
