TOP267VG is a high active voltage gain converter which is widely used in PMIC - AC DC converters and offline switchers applications. It is a family of devices with different ratings and parameters that provide high power conversion efficiency. TOP267VG is a monolithic integrated circuit and it also comes with a short circuit protection, which helps to prevent damage of system components.

The main purpose of using TOP267VG is to reduce the wasted energy due to heating. By using this converter, power output is increased and the waste of energy is minimized. The converter offers low switching losses and the output is stable.

The TOP267VG power converter works on a flyback topology, which is a voltage gain converter. The flyback topology is a switch mode converter in which the energy stored in a magnetic field of a transformer is used to boost the step-up voltage regulation.
